About

I have been shooting competitively since 2004. I have achieved the highest possible classification in USPSA competition of Grand Master in the Production division and am a regionally and nationally competitive shooter. If you ask my friends, I am well-known in USPSA competition shooting circles for my regular appearance on various shooting podcasts and my work with the Practical Shooting Training Group. Much to my dismay, I am “affectionately” known as “GMJP” by friends and colleagues. I am always excited to share my knowledge and experience with students. I am a certified by the National Range Officers Institute in USPSA as a Range Officer. I conduct training classes nationwide for competition shooters, as well as military and law enforcement agencies. I am the co-author of several books and the host of Practical Shooting Training Group Live podcast.
