Host A Class

Interested in hosting a class at your range, but don’t know where to start? I have made hosting a class easy for you. The sheets below provide you the basic information for being a class host/organizer. All classes can be tailored to the shooter’s needs from basic fundamentals to advanced skills. Students will leave class with a list of actionable items to work on to improve their shooting ability.

I often team teach with a select few instructors. If requested by the class organizer, I can bring a second instructor with me. By bringing a second instructor, we have the option for instructors on separate bays bouncing the students back and forth. It also offers a second perspective for feedback and allows more students in the class.

Instructors I teach with are: Ben Stoeger & Nick Young

You can save yourself both money and travel time by being an organizer! As an organizer, you receive your tuition to the class for free. Contact me today or visit Frequently Asked Questions for more information or to schedule a class. Insurance certificates for facilities are available upon request.

Practical Shooting Fundamentals

This two-day course is designed for participants with a basic understanding of firearm safety and handling, regardless of their current shooting ability.

Over the duration of the class, we focus on refining the fundamentals of shooting through a variety of dry-fire and live-fire drills. Every shooter brings existing habits—some effective, some limiting. Our goal is to identify those limitations and guide you through incorporating proven techniques to elevate your performance.

Drill expectations are scaled to each participant’s skill level. Newer shooters will focus on adopting solid techniques and making significant improvements, while more experienced shooters will be challenged with higher performance standards and advanced application. No matter your starting point, you will leave with a clear understanding of how to structure your practice and evaluate your training results effectively.

For military and law enforcement agencies, this course can be customized to meet your department’s specific requirements or qualification standards.

Practical Shooting Skills & Drills

This two-day course builds on the concepts covered in our Fundamentals class, placing greater emphasis on shooting while moving and scenario-based drills.

The goal is to advance your capabilities and prepare you for higher levels of performance. . Regardless of your background, you will be challenged at an appropriate level to maximize your progress.

Whether you’re a competitive shooter aiming to move up a classification in USPSA or IDPA, or a law enforcement or military professional seeking to sharpen your skills and better prepare for qualification standards, this class delivers targeted, practical training.

By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a personalized action plan—a clear “to-do” list—designed to help you continue improving your shooting performance long after the class ends.

Dynamic Pistol

Dynamic Pistol is a condensed, one-day version of our two-day Fundamentals course, designed for shooters who already have a basic understanding of firearm safety and handling. While this class moves at a faster pace and doesn’t go into as much depth as the full two-day course, it still emphasizes the essential elements of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Throughout the day, we focus on core shooting fundamentals through a variety of dry-fire and live-fire drills. Topics include grip, predictive and reactive shooting, engaging multiple targets, and movement. This class is structured to expose inefficiencies in your current technique and provide practical guidance to improve performance.

Expectations are scaled to the individual: newer shooters will begin integrating foundational techniques, while more experienced shooters will be challenged with greater demands for precision, speed, and consistency. Regardless of skill level, participants will leave with a stronger grasp of how to train with purpose and measure meaningful progress.

For military and law enforcement training, this class can be tailored to your department’s requirements or qualification standards

Practical Shooting Pistol/Rifle

We work on the fundamentals of being fast and accurate with a rifle and pistol. This class is geared towards people that already understand safe gun handling and want to improve. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of how to practice and how to assess their results.

A rifle sling is required since it’s the equivalent of having a holster for your rifle. Rifle magazine pouches are optional and not required.

The expectations for performance of each drill changes based on the shooter’s skill level. On a broad scale, less experienced shooters will be onboarding new techniques and incorporating big changes to their shooting while seasoned shooters may get pushed harder and have higher expectations set. Regardless of skill level, you should leave the class with a better understanding of how to practice and how to evaluate the results you are getting in training.

For military and law enforcement training, this class can be tailored to your department’s requirements or qualification standards.

The possibilities are endless and can be customized based on what you are looking for and the number of days you would like to train. Class size is flexible and can consist of a handgun, carbine or both platforms.

You will walk away from this training with a to-do list of things you need to work on and understand how to train.
